Our manufacturers

Our tools are currently made by craftsmen in Pakistan and in India.

This family has long experience of  forging steel instruments
and of making all types of tools.

Baba Boota himself is assisted by his two sons Irfan Ali and Imran Ali. Irfan is mainly in charge of the office operation while Imran assists Babba Boota in the workshop.

Babba Boota's brother is supervising the metalworkers
during the manufacturing and precision processes and
applying the required adjustments to the tools.

Altogether there are ten operatives who fashion the tools from
steel bars, shaping them and working on them up to the
final polished product.  Components are hammered into
shape  then forged in a die.

Assembly of the components is all done by hand.

Certain drilling and milling operations are done by machine.

Fine adjusting and  sharpening are done a
second time by hand and eye.

Finishing of the tools, a very important phase in the manufacturing process,  is carried out on the heavy grinding and polishing tables.

Every phase in the process requires an intense level of skill and precision allowing production of the high quality tools illustrated on this page.
